Five Days of Revival

I think our country, rather, the world at large is in much need of revival.  We don't need stats to know that famine is going on in the world around us, often at the hands of dictators. Women and children being trafficked into sex slavery and unpaid work. Child abuse, pornography, drug abuse, all out violence, etc. Sometimes, I just want to crawl under a rock, with my kids, and wait until Christ returns. Sometimes all the injustice gets me so angry I want to run for office (that's a laugh *Go Ron Paul*). Ok, not really.

Today, I thought, what could I do?  Maybe I could start at my little corner of the blog-o-sphere.  I could revive, and encourage others to do so as well.  So, today is the last day for chips and soda.

Starting this Friday, since no poetry came in, I'll commit to writing a Revival song a day for 5 days out of the book of Judges (j/k). Nope, the book of Psalms.  Ending the song writing on Valentine's Day. Let's not lose our first love. (Song writing friends, join me if you want to. Let me know you're "in", in the comments).
