who says you can't decorate palm trees????

We (okay I, 'cause John doesn't care) have decided that on Thanksgiving we'll celebrate with American style food (like there is any other way) and for Christmas we'll cook Indian and decorate our palm trees.

I think my goal is that our kids are exposed to both festive American foods and Indian foods. Living in a third country, we have to get them exposed somehow. Maybe, if I can fit into one, I'll wear an Indian outfit tomorrow (Christmas Eve). Christmas Day we are going to a friend's house.

Well, John is making spinach chicken curry right now (it's better the next day) and I need to get crackin' on the samosas. This will be my first time making them.

You really have to watch closely at these videos. I was sitting on the couch making my popcorn garland, listening to Michael Card and Keane starting doing his Christmas moves. If you can't see anything, neither could John, it might just be a 'mom thing'. Don't forget to turn off the Enya at the bottom, or there will be a little sound conflict.

Aww I remeber watching this from above! Kara said her kids (3) would sit with their hands all on her belly while she read books. Can you imagine? What a great picture that must have been.

I can totally see the BABY. Arms and legs rolling around. Thanks! I enjoyed reliving that. I really don't want to do it again. I say that EVERY time though.

I am so use to snow, pine trees, and cold air. I don't know how I would celebrate without all that. It gets me in the mood?!?!

I can see him! In the first 30 secs anyway. He looks like he was having fun. Like he's on the swim team doing laps and practicing his rolling. So cute! Being prego is great, isn't it? At least in these moments anyway...
