So, John and I had a great time with my Mom, Aunt and Brother while they were all here together. The last couple of weeks have been really packed. I've been so busy! It's time to clean the house and get started on German classes again, but before I do, I wanted to share a few pictures.
I'm not sure what I think of this widget, but if you don't have problems with it, you'll be able to see pictures starting with Salzburg where Mozart was born and where Sound of Music was filmed (John's almost favorite movie), and then salt mine pictures. CORRECTION- first salt mines, then Salzburg. We rode a train, and slid down wooden slides without signing release forms or wearing helmets, and took a ride on a boat, on a cave lake, in the dark. Second to last, you'll see pictures of the bunker that Hitler had built in Berchesgaten with slave labor, and his 50th year birthday present on the top of a mountain, with the original elevator and fireplace where US soldiers chipped off pieces to take home. And last, but not least King's Lake (Konigsee).
