Spring Already?

This is Andrew. His mom is German and his dad is American. He is tall dark and handsome like my hubby. Keane and Andrew were born on the same day!


I got a mysterious package the other day. They don't come that often. My Aunt Sandy sent gifts to Keane. The card was written to Keane as well. My Aunt told Keane about this sweater, how my Grandmother Steiger made it for Keane before she knew about him, because she passed away before John and I were married. I think we were engaged. I am grateful to know that she is with the Lord.

You wouldn't guess it by the weather, but spring came, according to the calendar. So did the need for cleaning. There is a whole new dynamic this year, namely, Keane. I've hired a teen from our church to help. She got most of the windows done today, inside and out, and the oven. Keane can only handle sitting in his bouncer for so long. So while I clean the drawers, she'll watch Keane, depending on how he does.

I hope to take her with me to the nursery and pick out a few plants. Pray for us. The whole thing is overwhelming when I'm usually lucky to get a load of laundry done and dinner on the table. I want to have this done by the end of the week. It's spring break for the Americans. That is why she can help me during the day.
